The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) has expressed its serious concern regarding an attempted break-in at the main entrance of the building housing Radio Nepalwani FM, located at Sungava Chowk, Ilam Municipality-7.

According to the FNJ Ilam Branch, two unidentified individuals attempted to break down the door on the night of Chaitra 1 (March 14) at approximately 10:15 PM. The individuals fled the scene after the staff raised an alarm.

This attempt against a media outlet is inherently reprehensible and criminal. The Federation demands that the local administration identify those involved in this act and bring them to justice.
