The Federation of Nepali Journalists has drawn its attention to the misbehavior of STS Television journalists Usha Kiran Jyoti and Laxman Dhungal by Traffic Police Constable Debing Shrestha while they were engaged in media work.

On 23rd of this month, Shrestha took control of Dhungal's mobile phone and tried to delete the photo, saying that he was checking three people riding motorcycles on the 6-lane road at Shaheed Gate in Dhangadhi.

This behavior towards journalists is highly condemnable and anti-press. The Federation demands the concerned bodies to take necessary action against those involved in such acts and respect press freedom.
